FAQs
+ How long in advance should I book for pet feeding? Well, that depends. Out of season requires roughly 1 week advance booking, but over Easter and the December holidays it is necessary to book a month or two in advance to avoid disappointment. + Do you charge per pet or per animal? Definitely not! We have a flat rate which is applicable to everyone, regardless of where you stay, how many pets you have or wether or not you even have pets.
We basically charge a call-out fee for going out to a client's house and the fee is determined by 1 or 2 visits per day as per the client's request. + Do you make use of reliable & trustworthy pet feeding staff? Yes, we most certainly do. Pet feeding is a very responsible jobs, as fun or easy as it may seem. We take our work very seriously and our operators represent us, therefore we have to be able to trust them and rely on them for our own peace of mind.
During the December school holiday pet feeding period we make use of our trustworthy and reliable operators but with the rest of the year being much quieter and more manageable, my wife Michelle and I do the feeding for our clients. + How often do you visit the house to feed the pets? This depends on the client. We have 2 rates. We can either go just once a day or twice a day, but the visits are charged accordingly. + Why should I use a pet feeding service? Kennels and pet hotels, as much as they claim to be 5 star, etc., are extremely traumatic for any animal to visit let alone stay at! Dogs and cats are very territorial and therefore prefer to stay in their own familiar environment. Removing your cats or dogs from their home/domain is the absolute worst thing you can do to them!! Besides that, who's keeping an eye on your house while you're away and what about your swimming pool, pot plants, etc? Register with SA Petcare. Click here to experience absolute peace of mind!
